Pipework
A full selection of pipeworks.
Tap or Shower descale
As part of your water system schematic for controlling Legionella bacterium, quarterly descale and disinfection to outlets & shower heads are a legal requirement to be recorded & certificated within your site water log book. Failure to do so could result in Legionella proliferation. Legionella bacteria is inhaled and not digested, meaning failure to conduct quarterly disinfection means a high chance of outbreak that put end-users at risk.
Pipework Insulation
Having compliant pipework insulation fitted is essential for water temperature control – to avoid thermal gain within your water systems and allowing temperatures to rise or drop below compliant parameters. Ensuring pipework is insulated correctly is paramount in controlling Legionella. Given the right environment, temperature & stagnation allows Legionella to proliferate at incredible speeds.
Temperature Gages
Fitted to Flow & Return pipework for ease of monthly temperature monitoring – this allows you to safely and efficiently take the water temperature and log them into your site water log book ensuring compliance and documentation of temperature readings.
Flexi Hoses
Usually used to connect pipework to outlets – Flexi hoses must be WRAS approved to meet compliance – if found not to be WRAS approved these must be removed and replaced immediately as non WRAS approved Flexi hoses have been found to have nutrient source materials within them that help the proliferation of the Legionella bacteria.
Temperature Adjustments
Manually adjust hot water temperature at their source of heat.
Byelaw 30 Kit
A combined product of rodent overflow screens to overflow tank pipework & screened lid vents. Having these fitted to your cold water storage tank will prevent insects, bugs & small animals entering internally & will allow your internal waters to vent and breath ensuring they do not condensate and create bacterial growth.
Thermostatic Mixing Valve Change
When a fault or a broken TMV is fitted to the water system, change for a working compliant TMV.
Thermostatic Mixing Valve Temperature Adjustment
Ensuring your TMV is serving the outlets compliant, safe temperatures.
Thermostatic Mixing Valve Service
Quarterly, the TMV’s fitted to your water systems must be removed, de-scaled & disinfected.
Dead Leg Removal
Otherwise known as “dead ends” or “capped pipework”, they hold stagnated water that can potentially back contaminate the water system of which they are connected to.
